All across the known world, disgraced wizards turn to the dark arts to satisfy their egos, skeletons stir in crumbling ruins as treasure-hunters disturb their rest, and unnatural horrors come out from the shadows to stalk their prey. When armies of such creatures gather in large numbers, they are a menace to all, and many a woodland or mountain pass is controlled by the undead and other monsters, along with their dark masters.
