A small and reclusive island nation, Yakata is geographically really more located in the Midlands, but is generally considered a part of the Southlands, since it is much more involved in the politics of those states, especially its neighbour Tuland. Ruled by an emperor, the armies of Yakata are famed for their elite samurai, and their armies are also one of the few to make use of sparkpowder weapons.
