#The Alliance
The Alliance is a coalition of planets in the old sector. They are the most advanced people in the galaxy, with technology that seems like magic to primitive minds. The planets of the Alliance are beautiful utopias, centres of learning, and peace. The Alliance has tried to teach the other peoples of the galaxy their ways, but after disappointments and failures, they have made themselves isolated, only interfering with the affairs of others when absolutely necessary.
The Alliance seldom goes to war, but when it does, it brings to bear mystical technology of awesome power- weapons, vehicles, and robotic systems operate with a grace that is far beyond the primitive contraptions of other factions. Their soldiers' inexperience in battle is made up for by powerful weapons and targeting systems.
